Washington University's School of Law News noted that alumni Ken Vuylsteke and Winston Calvert received the Legal Champions of the Year Award from Missouri Lawyers' Weekly. Together with Richard Scherrer and George von Stamwitz, Vuylsteke and Calvert received the award for their work defending St. Stanislaus Parish in its long-running property dispute with the Archdiocese of St. Louis and the Vatican.
